Pasta Bar Factory! Conceived by Peter Morenztos almost entirely on a flight from Bangkok to Montreal, this concept was appropriately named to pay homage to the two most prominent ethnic groups in the city of Montreal. Built in 1995 on 2 floors, W&G was designed to resemble the interior and exterior of a Tuscan Villa. Providing for multi level seating, W&G features soaring ceilings, natural stone walls, touches of wood and steel, colorful hand painted wall murals and warm hues of terracotta. The setting is a perfect combination of city style and rustic Mediterranean comfort. The Italian influenced menu is a perfect combination of traditional classics with a modern flair. Dishes include fresh made pasta made on premise, gourmet pizzas, antipasti, seasonal salads and a wonderful selection of grilled specialties including fish, veal, chicken and meat. Whether it be for our ''4-8 Happy Hour'' on Monday-Fridays, a drink before or after dinner, a glass of wine on a weekend afternoon or a late snack at the bar. The bar scene at Weinstein’s is very popular. For lunch with colleagues, dinner with friends, social gatherings, corporate events or a special celebration just for two, W&G is defined by its worldly yet welcoming appeal.
